Kimberley Group Training has developed vast networks with industry and businesses across the Kimberley. The very nature of Group Training brings us into direct contact with large, medium and small employers from a wide range of industries such as: building and construction, metals, automotive, mining, tourism, horticulture, health care, electrical and business administration to name a few.

As at 6 June 2008 Kimberley Group Training had 155 Host Employers.  Host Employers are very diverse, covering building, engineering, mining, hospitality, horticulture and business administration. It is anticipated that there will be significant employment opportunities in the mining, hospitality and tourism industries over the next three years.

Kimberley Group Training employs the Apprentices and “Hosts” them out to employers and can assist employers who do not have sufficient work to employ a person for the full term of an apprenticeship, or who are unable to provide all aspects of the training required. Management of paperwork, including Wages, Worker’s Compensation and Superannuation is all handled by Kimberley Group Training.  Host Employers are charged a nominal management fee.
